Mrs. Barbara Fitzgerald Willingham

Mrs. Barbara Fitzgerald Willingham, age 64, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Willingham was employed as a computer programmer with NAPA General Parts Company for twenty-four years. She was an avid traveler that enjoyed exploring new places with her family. 

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; Paul Peter Fitzgerald and Dorothy Mansolf Fitzgerald; and brother, Bruce Fitzgerald.

She is survived by her devoted husband of forty-seven years, Alan Willingham of Winder; daughter, Kristin (Ryan) Barrett of Lexington; siblings, Barry Fitzgerald of Acworth, Brian Fitzgerald of Suwanee, and Bonnie Whatley of St. Augustine; and her grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Boobah," Ashlyn, David, and Harrison Barrett all of Lexington. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Carl Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the graveside. 

The family respectfully request, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Mrs. Willingham's memory to the American Cancer Society.

Maddox-Carter Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
