Mrs. Helen Crowe Rogers

Mrs. Helen Crowe Rogers, age 84, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2026, surrounded by her family, at her residence. 

Mrs. Rogers was a devoted member of Midway Christian Church where she faithfully served for over fifty years. She was actively involved at the church teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and leading Bible Studies. Helen retired from St. Mary's Healthcare System after forty-three years of dedicated service as the Rehabilitation Coordinator for the Physical Therapy Department. 

Family was everything to Helen; she was fiercely loyal to her siblings whom she shared an inseparable bond with. She will be remembered best as a loving Mee Maw to all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and to many others.   

Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Rogers; parents, E.H. Crowe and Irene Manus Crowe; and siblings, Frances Ford, Janice Moss, Bobby Jack Crowe, Rachel Fox, and Linda Segars. 

Helen is survived by her children, Kenneth (Becky) Rogers of Winder, Deborah (Richard) Hinshaw of Winder, Yvonne Cain of Martin, and Steven (Toni) Rogers of Statham; siblings, Jimmy Crowe of Winder, Wayne Crowe of Winder, and Ronnie (Liathia) Crowe of Winder; nine grandchildren, Rusty Rogers, Casey Rogers, Taylor Hinshaw, Brandi Greeson, Ashley Mosley, Christine Mosley, Baylee Rogers, Lindsay Rogers, and Ella Rogers. 

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Midway Christian Church with Mr. Steven Rogers and Pastor Joey Durmire officiating. Burial will follow the service at Midway Christian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Rogers will Lie-In-State at the church from 1:00 PM until the service hour. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Maddox Memorial Home.

Flowers are accepted for the funeral service of Mrs. Rogers or memorial contributions can be made to the Tree House Foundation. 

Maddox Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
