Ms. Jerri Shaw Andrews, age 93, of Lavonia, Georgia, formerly of Winder, Georgia passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Brown Health and Rehab in Royston, Georgia. 

Born January 15, 1933, in Ruston, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Shaw and Ila Mae (Spurrier) Koch. 

Ms. Andrews worked for many years at The Baptist Book Store as a store manager. She had a lifelong love for reading and also enjoyed baking, especially her pound cakes and Italian cream cakes. She was fond of cats and found great joy in the simple things of life. 

A woman of Christian faith, Ms. Andrews was a member of First Baptist Church of Winder. 

She is survived by her sister, Margie Black; nieces, Katrina Algard and Jeff, Kim Gebo and John, and Karen Marcus and Randy; along with several great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services celebrating Ms. Andrews' life will be held at 12:00noon on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Chad Mantooth officiating. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00noon, just prior to the service at the funeral home.

In honor of Jerri's favorite color and life, the family invites those attending her service to wear a touch of red in her memory. 

The family has entrusted Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell, with the arrangements.
