Mrs. Kimberly Rollins Apineru

Mrs. Kimberly Rollins Apineru, age 59, of Winder, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

Kimberly was a 1984 graduate of Winder-Barrow High School. She served the United States faithfully in the Army and was a dedicated homemaker throughout her life. Kimberly cared deeply for her family. She was a very creative person and enjoyed creating various kinds of crafts. Kimberly will be remembered best as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother.

Mrs. Apineru was preceded in death by her husband, Pousoo Oloatua Apineru; and her father, Gene Arthur Rollins. 

She is survived by her mother, Janice Faye Rollins of Auburn; son, Adam Pousoo (Mehgan) Apineru of Jefferson; daughters, April Apineru of Winder and Alexis Eseta Apineru of Oakwood; siblings, Anita (Bill) Shaw of Winder, Juanita (Keith) Mitchell of Monroe, and Sandra (Scott) Reynolds of Winder; three grandchildren, Kainoa Gene Apineru, Koa Apineru, and Fallon Apineru; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 9, 2026 in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home with Rev. Jeff Gossett officiating. Burial will follow the service at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Maddox Memorial Home. 

Flowers are accepted for the funeral service of Mrs. Apineru.
