Mrs. LeRue Cain Perry, age 73, of Statham, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. 

LeRue lived most of her life in Statham; she was a member of Freedom Fellowship. She will be remembered best as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. 

Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her parents, O.C. Cain and Maggie Ford Cain; and siblings, Bob Cain and Dempsey Cain. 

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Perry of Statham; children, Maggie (Billy) Mauldin of Nicholson, Christina (Adam) Leazer of Madison, and Theresa Perry of Homer; siblings, Betty Lyle of Statham and Alice Drummond of Statham; six grandchildren, Will (Cassie) Mauldin, MacKenzie Mauldin, Walker Mauldin, Kylee Leazer, Braxton Leazer, and Davis Leazer; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. 

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 21, 2026 in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home with Pastor Ned Davis and Pastor Robert Stamey officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery in Statham. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 20, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Maddox Memorial Home. 

Flowers are accepted for the funeral service.
