Mrs. Martha Allen McDonald

Mrs. Martha Allen McDonald, age 86, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at her residence.

Mrs. Martha was a devoted member of Midway Christian Church. She had a true servant's heart and a contagious smile. Martha's presence would light up a room and she was loved by many. She was a loving wife, mother, and nannie to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles McDonald; parents, Fletcher and Iduma Barber Allen; and siblings, A.L., Morris, Donald, and Doris Allen. 

She is survived by her devoted daughters; Cindy (Joey) Cofer of Winder, Robbie Hardigree of Statham, and Jeanette (Tim) McElhannon of Bethlehem; four grandchildren, Jonathan Hicks of Winder, Emily (Bryan) Kohut of Statham, Joseph Emmett of Statham, and Annie Grace (Tyler) Boatwright of Bethlehem; and two great-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Hudson Kohut both of Statham. 

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 17, 2025 in the Chapel of Maddox-Carter Memorial Home with Rev. John Burchfield officiating. Burial will follow the service at Chapel Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 17, 2025 from 12:00 PM until the service hour at Maddox-Carter Memorial Home.
