Mrs. Rachel Ann Cobb

Mrs. Rachel Ann (Abbott) Cobb, 44, of Auburn, passed away on December 15, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Born on June 27, 1981, in Boston, Massachusetts, Rachel was the daughter of Robert West Abbott II and Donna Abbott. She grew up in Pepperell, Massachusetts, and graduated from the Academy of Notre Dame. She later made her life in Georgia, working in Atlanta and living in Auburn with her husband, Timothy Cobb, and her beloved pets. Though she built her adult life in Georgia, Rachel carried a deep love for her New England roots, and her sense of home always remained close to her heart.

Rachel was creative, artistic, and deeply imaginative. A lifelong lover of fantasy and science fiction, she found joy in reading, games, and art. She was known for her intelligence, her sense of humor, and her gentle nature.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert West Abbott II. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Cobb of Auburn, Georgia; her mother, Donna Abbott of Pepperell, Massachusetts; her sister, Rebecca Abbott Valdez of El Paso, Texas; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, friends, and colleagues.

Rachel will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Details of a memorial service will be shared at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a local library.
