Mrs. Shirley Patton Clack

Mrs. Shirley Patton Clack, age 90, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Clack was a lifelong resident of Barrow County. She was a 1953 graduate of Winder-Barrow High School, and she retired from Sears. Shirley was a member of Pentecost United Methodist Church. 

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, William Monford "Bud" Clack; parents, John and Louise Skinner Patton; sister, Carolyn Coursin, and brother, Terry Patton.

She is survived by her children, Wes Clack of Winder, Carol Mize of Winder, and Mitchell (Jennifer) Clack of Centre, AL; siblings, Cynthia Sauls of Winder, Brenda Johnson of Auburn, and Dan Patton of Winder; eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026 in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home with Rev. Jennifer Carey officiating. Burial will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 1:00 PM until the service hour at Maddox Memorial Home.

The family respectfully request in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Pentecost United Methodist Church, 1055 Hwy 82 Winder, Georgia 30680.
