Mrs. Twyla Jones Peace

Mrs. Twylia Jones Peace, age 78, of Bethlehem, peacefully entered into the presence of the Lord, surrounded by family, on Monday, June 1, 2026, at her residence.

Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to serving others. She was the secretary to the Principal at Varina High School. She was member of Lakeside United Methodist Church, where she lived out her faith through service, fellowship, and a commitment to the Church. Mrs. Peace was an active member of the Red Hat Society, where she formed lasting friendships, fellowship, and countless memories with fellow members. During her son, Jason’s, childhood, she served as a Cub Scout Leader.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ruth Jones; and sister, Charbert “Candy” Jones.

Mrs. Peace is survived by her loving husband, Joe C. Peace, of Bethlehem; son, Jason Thomas Peace, of Oakland, CA; and granddaughter, Winter Amelia Peace (Jack) McKean, of Melbourne, FL.

At this time, services are pending for Mrs. Peace and will be announced by Maddox Memorial Home as soon as they become available.
