Mrs. Vivian Louise Hayes

Mrs. Vivian Louise Hayes, age 82, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

Mrs. Hayes was a resident of Barrow County for most of her life. She retired as a seamstress at R and R Manufacturing Company. Throughout her life, Vivian enjoyed traveling and shopping. She will be remembered best as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hayes; parents, Grady and Elsie Kennedy; granddaughter, Kimberly McDaniel; sisters, Lena Wall and Veronica Still; brothers, Steve Kennedy and Sonny Kennedy; and sons-in-law, Larry Fortner and Tommy McDaniel.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Angela and Junior Collins, Tim and Susi Hayes, Amanda and Brandon Holcombe, MaryAnne McDaniel, and Patty Fortner; siblings, Ronnie Kennedy and Cathy Weatherford; along with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 28, 2025 in the Chapel of Maddox-Carter Memorial Home with Rev. Matt Dibler officiating. Burial will follow the service at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Maddox-Carter Memorial Home.

Flowers are accepted for the funeral service of Mrs. Hayes.
