Ms. Melinda Faye Johnson

Ms. Melinda Maughon Johnson, 65, of Winder, Georgia passed away, Friday, April 17, 2026.

Mrs. Johnson was born January 28, 1961, in Barrow County, Georgia, to the late Harlan Henry Maughon & Johnnie Daphine Phillips. She lived in Winder all of her life. Mrs. Johnson was always a good friend and made sure she called and checked on her friends and family often. She never met a stranger and was friendly to everyone. If you had something going on, she would pray for you, and get everyone else she knew to join in.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Greene & Ben, son, James Joseph Johnson; grandchildren, Sydney Greene, Briggs Greene, Gates Greene, Delaney Greene, Darby Greene, & Teddy Greene; & sister, Janet Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Johnson, and a brother, Jimmy Maughon.

Her Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Winder First United Methodist Church.
