Ms. Patsey Jane Stewart

Ms. Patsey Jane Stewart, age 75, of Athens, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Whispering Pines Personal Care Home.

She was of the Baptist faith. Patsey had a strong love for Jesus and enjoyed telling about her personal relationship with him any chance she could get. Patsey was also an avid University of Georgia fan.

Ms. Stewart was preceded in death by parents, Frank Stewart, Sr. and Ola House Stewart; siblings, Jr. Stewart, Larry Stewart, Doug Stewart, Gail Martin, and Dennis Stewart; and nephew, Shane Martin.

She is survived by her nieces, Shalon (Benjamin) Sweatt and Chavine (Terry) Watkins; brother, Danny (Eloise) Stewart; sister-in-law, Cathy Stewart; and a host of extended family also survives.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Conyers, Georgia with Pastor Paul Wimpey officiating. Ms. Stewart will be laid to rest at Farmington Cemetery in Watkinsville, Georgia.

Maddox-Carter Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
