Ms. Tara "Kristi" Nash, age 43, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2026 at her residence.
She was a devoted private investigator with Allied Universal, where her keen insight and dedication to her work made a lasting impact in her field. Tara was a proud graduate of Clements High School, class of 2001.
Kristi cherished many aspects of life. She was known for her warm spirit and deep compassion, particularly her love for animals. Kristi was a proud breast cancer survivor, a testament to her strength and resilience. She also enjoyed traveling to the beach. As a loving mother, daughter, and sister, Kristi's family was at the heart of her world. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support shaped the lives of those she loved. Kristi will be remembered for her remarkable character, profound love for her family, and her unstoppable fight against life’s challenges.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Nash.
Kristi is survived by her children, Javid "Jay" Wiley of Winder, Layden Wiley of Winder, and Colin Black of Athens, AL.; mother, Robbie Cash-Nash of Winder; sister, Jill Cash of Winder; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her beloved furry companions- Chuck, Stormi, Nova, Star, and Big Kitty.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, January 18, 2026 in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home with Rev. Ned Davis officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 1:00 PM until the service hour at Maddox Memorial Home.
Flowers are accepted or donations can be made in memory of Kristi to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
