Mrs. Myrtle Lyle, age 92, of Winder, Georgia died September 27, 2011. A Jackson County native, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Lenora Vaughn Clark. She was the widow of Edwin Lyle. Mrs. Lyle was the oldest member of New Pentecost United Methodist Church. For many years Mrs. Lyle was the lunchroom manager at Winder-Barrow High School.
A Funeral Service was held at 11:00 A. M., September 30, 2011 at New Pentecost United Methodist Church with Rev. Billy Pittman and Rev. Mike McLemore officiating. The remains were placed in state at the church at 10:30 A. M. Interment was in New Pentecost United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Family will received friends Thursday from 6-9 P. M. at Carter Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to New Pentecost United Methodist Church, 1323 Highway 211, N. E., Winder, Georgia 30680.
Surviving are Sons, Bobby Lyle and Jimmy Lyle both of Winder, Four Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren, and Sister, Carolyn Carter of Winder.
Carter Funeral Home of Winder was in charge of arrangements.
