Patricia Ann Wells Hembrey, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, in Social Circle, Georgia, after bravely facing Alzheimer's disease. Born on December 18, 1942, in Winder, Georgia, Patricia's life was marked by deep devotion to her family, steadfast faith, and an unwavering, commitment to others.

Funeral Services will be held 1PM, Monday, July 27, 2026 at Maddox Memorial Home with Rev. Dave Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11AM until 1PM. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Winder. 

Always supportive and caring, Patricia excelled in her role as a Navy wife, navigating its unique challenges and finding significance and pride in supporting her husband throughout his service. This strength of character became another hallmark of her legacy.

Professionally, Patricia worked in the insurance business with Primercia. Colleagues respected her for her diligence and integrity, and she was proud of the contributions she made in her field.

Patricia held her church community close to her heart, regularly attending services in Winder. Her faith guided her through the joys and challenges of life, sustaining her and shaping the warm compassion she so freely shared.

Those who knew Patricia remember her for her boundless love, her loyalty to family, and her steadfastness in nurturing relationships both within and beyond her own household. Her dedication to her loved ones and her community will echo through generations.

Patricia Ann Hembrey leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by all who were privileged to share in her remarkable life.

She is survived by her children, Suzanna Hawk & Jimmy of Rutledge, Jennifer Roberts of Winder, and Philip Hembrey, Jr. of Winder; sister, Marie Wells Fowler & Edward of Auburn; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hembrey is preceded in death by her husband Philip Lloyd Hembrey, Sr; brother, Eddie Wells; son-in-law, Phil Roberts.
