Peggy Joyce Schoenborn

Ms. Peggy Schoenborn, age 79 of Winder, Georgia died December 22, 2012. A Jackson County Native, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Winnie Maloch Smith. She was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church, where she was active in The Bus Ministry for twenty-five years. Ms. Schoenborn was a 1951 Graduate of Braselton High School, and was a 1977 Graduate of The North Georgia Police Academy, later serving seven years with the Barrow County Sheriff's Department. She retired in 1994 as a customer service representative with Flavorich Dairies. Most recently, she was a caregiver for the elderly.
Surviving are Daughter, Cathy Cronic Butler of Winder, Son, Tommy Schoenborn of Auburn, Four Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Interment will be in White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends Thursday from 4-9 P. M. at the funeral home.
