Mrs. Phyllis Boyd Brown, 59, of Winder, died September 1, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Brown, and parents, Robert and Jeanette Dailey Boyd. Mrs. Brown was employed with the Gwinnett County Police Department as a staff assistant. She was a member of The Church at Winder.
A funeral service was held at 2 P. M. Sunday, September 4, 2011 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home. with Rev. Donnie Pennington officiating. Interment was in Bethabra Baptist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are Son, Robert Christopher Brown of Winder, Daughter, Rebecca Diane Brown of Toccoa, and Step-Daughter, Lynn Brown Burton of Toccoa, Two Grandchildren, and Two Brothers, Keith Boyd and Kevin Boyd both of Winder.
Carter Funeral Home of Winder, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
