Robert Earl Mccarty

Mr. Robert Earl McCarty, age 67, of Winder, passed away on October 17, 2022.

Mr. McCarty was of the Baptist faith. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.

Mr. McCarty is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Earl McCarty and Margaret Joanne Swisher McCarty; siblings, Vickie Jean McCarty, Walter Francis McCarty, and Michael Lynns McCarty.

Mr. McCarty is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Linda Clark McCarty of Winder; children, David (Bobbie) Thomas of Winder, Sabrina Hall of Winder, and Linda Kay Fricke of Winder; brothers, James Joseph McCarty of Athens and Mark Allen McCarty of Habersham; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis West officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home.
