Mr. Robert "Keith" Rice

Mr. Robert "Keith" Rice, age 66, of Winder, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday May 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on October 7, 1959, to the late Roy and Ruth Rice.

Keith was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was known for his kind heart, his love for family, and the joy he found in life's simple moments. Keith never met a stranger and had a special way of making everyone around him feel welcomed and valued. Mr. Rice loved to play golf.

One of Keith's greatest joys was playing pool, collecting treasures, spending time with family and friends, and making memories filled with laughter and love. He lived life at his own pace and enjoyed every moment along the way. His caring spirit, sense of humor, and generous heart will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. More than anything, Keith cherished his family. The love, guidance, and memories he leaves behind will continue to live on through each of them for years to come.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Rice; son, Jason (Brandy) Schuenemann; daughters, Ashley Schuenemann and Andrea (James) Westbrook; brother, Mike (Gwen) Rice; sister-in-law, Terry Rice; along with grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ruth Rice; brothers, David Rice and Joe Rice; and sister, Martha Ann Holcomb.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 21, 2026 in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home. Burial will follow the service at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Maddox Memorial Home.

In lieu of flowers, a love offering may be made to the family.
