Dr. Ronald L. Bragg, age 75, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at his residence.
Dr. Bragg was a member of the Winder First Baptist Church. He dedicated his life to the Christian faith and was called to minister across the United States. Dr. Bragg pastored at the First Baptist Church of Ringling, Oklahoma, Timber Lawn Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi, Wiggins Baptist Church in Carthage, Mississippi, and Immanuel Baptist Church in Monticello, Kentucky. Dr. Bragg also served the United States faithfully in the Air Force.
Dr. Bragg is preceded in death by his parents; Murle D. Bragg and Opal P. Cutlip Bragg.
Dr. Bragg is survived by his loving wife, Carol Bragg of Winder; sons, Douglas Harvey (LeAnne) Bragg of Buford, Daniel Ray Bragg of Winder; brother, Clifford L. Bragg of Albany, Kentucky; grandchildren, Peyton Elizabeth Bragg and Denver Ross Bragg.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia with military honors rendered by the United States Air Force Honor Guard. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home.
