Mr. Talmadge Brooks, age 81, of Winder, Georgia died October 15, 2012. A native of Commerce, Georgia he was a son of the late Walter and Bonnie Duncan Brooks. He was the retired owner of Brooks' Forklift Service and was an Air Force Veteran. Mr. Brooks was a member of Union Baptist Church.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P. M., Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from Union Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Powers officiating. The Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 6-9 P. M. at Carter Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Union Baptist Church Building Fund, 527 Union Church Road, Winder, Georgia 30680.
Surviving are Wife, Geneva Thompson Brooks of Winder, Children, Sharon Brooks Brown of Conyers, Jeffrey Stephen Brooks of Jasper and Tina Brooks Howe of Hoschton, Twelve Grandchildren, Six Great Grandchildren and a number of Nieces and Nephews.
