Tommy G. Gilbert

Mr. Tommy G. Gilbert, age 65, of Bethlehem, Georgia died October 3, 2013 at his residence. A native of Gwinnett County, he was preceded by his father, R. C. Gilbert and a sister, Peggy McDaniel. Mr. Gilbert had attended Dacula public schools. He was a retiree of Lucent Technologies.
Surviving are Wife, Virginia Sutton Gilbert of Bethlehem, Children, Keith Gilbert of Commerce, Marsha Fogle of Loganville and Tammy Flanagan of Bethlehem, Seven Grandchildren, Mother, Mary Gilbert of Lawrenceville, Sisters, Susan Phyfe of Dahlonega, Cynthia Glenon of Snellville, and Marie Hammond of Monroe, Brother, Tony Gilbert of Missouri.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P. M., Sunday, October 6, 2013 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Dyer and Rev. Gene Greeson officiating. The Family will receive friends Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 2-4 P. M. and from 6-8 P. M.at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
